These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Sacred Ink (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by the following terms.

ORDERS

  • All products are made to order.

  • A contract is formed once written confirmation has been issued and the required deposit has been received.

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

 

PAYMENT

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure your booking and commence work.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to print production or dispatch.

  • Once a deposit has been received and work has commenced, refunds cannot be provided.

  • In the rare circumstance that we must cancel an order due to an issue on our side, a full refund will be issued.

 

DESIGN & PROOFING

  • Semi-custom suites have fixed layouts to preserve design integrity.

  • Colour palettes and wording may be customised within the scope of the chosen suite.

  • The Client is responsible for supplying accurate wording and event details.

  • Digital proofs will be supplied prior to print.

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to carefully review all spelling, grammar, dates, times, and addresses.

  • Once written approval of the final printer’s proof has been received, Sacred Ink accepts no responsibility for errors.

  • If mistakes are discovered after final approval, the Client will be charged in full for any artwork amendments and reprinting.

 

PRODUCTION & LEAD TIMES

  • Estimated lead times are provided at the point of enquiry.

  • Timelines are dependent on prompt communication and proof approvals.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by late approvals, supplier issues, courier delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

PRINT & PRODUCT VARIATIONS

  • Minor colour variation may occur between screen and printed product.

  • Paper stocks and speciality finishes may vary slightly in tone or texture.

  • Such variations are not considered defects.

  • All items are subject to availability.

A Note on Our Signature Finish

Many of our suites feature our signature hand-finished glow — a subtle artisanal finish applied by hand to create depth and quiet luminosity. Due to its handcrafted nature, slight variations may occur and are considered part of its character.

 

DELIVERY

UK Delivery

  • £9 for small parcels (Royal Mail).

  • £18 for large parcels (usually Parcelforce).

  • A signature is required upon delivery as proof of receipt.

International Delivery

  • International shipping (including the EU) is available upon request and will be quoted separately.

  • Sacred Ink is not responsible for import duties, customs charges, VAT, tariffs, or local taxes imposed by the destination country.

  • These charges are the sole responsibility of the Client.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance or international courier services.

General Delivery Terms

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Risk transfers to the Client upon dispatch.

  • Sacred Ink is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

  • Any issues relating to loss, delay, or damage must be addressed directly with the courier or carrier service.

  • Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

 

CANCELLATIONS

  • As all goods are personalised and made to order, they are exempt from cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • If cancellation occurs after design work has begun, the Client will be charged for all work completed to date.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All designs, artwork, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Sacred Ink unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We reserve the right to photograph and feature completed stationery for promotional purposes.

  • Personal details will never be disclosed.

  • Designs may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without written consent.

 

COMMERCIAL CLIENTS

  • This clause applies where the Client is acting in the course of business, including planners, venues, stylists, agencies, or corporate entities.

  • Where a Commercial Client places an order on behalf of an end client, the Commercial Client remains fully responsible for payment, communication, and accuracy of supplied information.

  • Sacred Ink is not responsible for disputes between a Commercial Client and their end client.

  • Payment terms for Commercial Clients may differ and must be agreed in writing.

  • Trade discounts, where offered, are discretionary and may be withdrawn at any time.

  • Commercial Clients may not reproduce, resell, or distribute Sacred Ink designs without prior written agreement.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including event-related losses.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any matter which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

  • We shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control.

 

GOVERNING LAW

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
